Hi, sorry, but could you explain the whole they made Steve Rogers a nazi thing. I’m very confused.

1: A panel from the comic ‘Captain America: Steve Rogers #1’ (which will be out tomorrow) was leaked which had Steve Rogers saying “Hail Hydra”.
Someone spread some stuff around about how Steve was a Hydra agent (sans the brainwashing and torture) this entire time. You can imagine how we all took that initial news.

2: A wider frame of that same panel was leaked with a man dressed up as Steve Rogers said “Hail Hydra” and another man was tied to a chair and had his mouth gagged.
This made people speculate that the man tied up was the real Steve Rogers and the man in the uniform, a clone of some kind.

3: [another huge/revealing spoiler for the comic so if you’re planning on reading it please look away] Another panel, which featured two men fighting, both wearing the Captain America costume, was leaked. One of those men had, I think, his arm ripped off. But you could clearly see that arm wasn’t human flesh, but robot. So yay Steve is not a Hydra agent and never will be of his free will. Someone else was pretending to be him. Phew.
