This is the advocacy and political arm of Planned Parenthood. It’s what keeps them talking to politicians and aiding their fight for survival in a legal sense. This is their best defense against anti-abortion/antiPP lobbying groups.
They are not allowed to use money donated to PP for lobbying purposes. So 40 times the usual number of donations isn’t gonna be helpful if there’s no longer a PP to donate to. Money alone won’t save them.
I chatted with a PP rep at the Women’s March about this. This is definitely something they need, but few are aware of.Lawyers cost money, folks. Help them fund their own advocacy.
