So I went to see the film. With a giant group of Armenians from the local church. (Even though my family doesn’t go to church.)

Everyone should see this movie. Please. I’m asking my followers, and anyone else who happens to read this, to please go see this movie. Please support it. The genocide wasn’t the end. Those killings happened again and again throughout the last 100 years, the Turks and the Azeri are still trying to take over our lands and wipe us from the face of the earth. Most governments in the world don’t recognize this as a genocide. For god’s sake, the word genocide was coined to describe the Armenian genocide at the hands of the Ottoman Empire.

I beg you. Please. For anyone who has ever faced persecution. For every culture that has been killed due to unreasonable hate. Go support this movie.

It’s literally made to get to as wide an audience as possible. It’s a bit cliched and formulaic but it’s important. Take your friends. Take your family.

Don’t let the Turkish government win in wiping our genocide from history and memory.
