The only issue with a lot of these people jumping on posts about Natalie Portman is these same people, and most of Tumblr, stay dead silent about Harrison Ford, who explicitly brought Polanski his Oscar for The Pianist, and in fact had promised to do so. Why then do they reblog Harrison Ford without comment, but never fail to hit up a Natalie Portman post, if they’re that mad about Polanski?

I didn’t know this about Harrison Ford. This is a great disappointment. This is hypocrisy and sexism.

Literally the first I’ve heard of this but… true.

And not the only name:

“And the Oscar… goes to Roman Polanski for The Pianist,”
announced Harrison Ford, flashing an approving grin. Scorsese,
Weinstein, Meryl Streep, and a host of others rose to their feet, giving
the filmmaker a 30-second standing ovation. Their eyes darted around
the room, curious to see who would be accepting the award on his behalf.
You see, Polanski could not be in attendance that evening—or even in
the country. He was living in exile in Europe, having pleaded guilty to
“unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.”

And we got video of the trashy event:

EDIT: BTW we can be mad about both, both Portman and Ford are trash.
