He’s feeling his feelings.

He’s not sure why he took the sad old broken toy with him, but something about it was oddly familiar.
Bucky Bear – the bear, not the handsome fella who also happens to be the War Bride – joined the U.S. Army and the Howling Commandos as a Private or “private E-1” – a very raw recruit.
However, the little bear soon proved to be a credit to his new team and a fine soldier. He was very brave and very dedicated to his duty of keeping Sergeant Bucky Barnes from having too many kittens after he was wounded in a recent skirmish against HYDRA. It must be said that Sergeant Bucky is a terrible patient and hard to keep in bed. Private Bucky made sure that he stayed there and would recover fully to rejoin his fellow soldiers out in the field. Therefore, his commanding officer – Captain Steven Grant Rogers – saw fit to give him a field promotion to Corporal.
Alas, Colonel Phillips is still red taping newly minted Corporal Bucky’s paperwork for some reason. The good Agent Carter has promised to fast-track that. Corporal Bear deserves all the credit he can get.
Ahem.
